TPG’s Tasters is a relatively new feature on this blog, but one which I intend to last for a long time. Approximately once a week, I’ll feature a free ebook sample retrieved from Amazon or a similar site; I will then proceed to comment on my impression of the sample, in terms of the cover, blurb and the writing itself. At the end of the feature, I’ll answer the so-called “All-Imporant Question”; namely, Did I Buy It?
There aren’t any hard and fast rules as to what I will and won’t feature, though I won’t deny to having preferences. I mostly read science fiction and fantasy, so the books I feature are likely to reflect this. Furthermore, I intend to mostly books which are independently published and/or otherwise obscure; running books that everyone already knows isn’t particularly worthwhile, in my view.
If you would like to suggest a book for me to feature or make any other comments, feel free to comment down below and/or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Submitting your own book is entirely allowed, and is in fact encouraged.
