Want to read: Parasite, by Mira Grant
I came across this while browsing goodreads recently. I think I’ll just let the blurb speak for itself.
A decade in the future, humanity thrives in the absence of sickness and disease.
We owe our good health to a humble parasite – a genetically engineered tapeworm developed by the pioneering SymboGen Corporation. When implanted, the tapeworm protects us from illness, boosts our immune system – even secretes designer drugs. It’s been successful beyond the scientists’ wildest dreams. Now, years on, almost every human being has a SymboGen tapeworm living within them.
But these parasites are getting restless. They want their own lives… and will do anything to get them.
Uhhhh….yeah, I think I’ll be reading this. I tried to find out a little more about this book, but as of yet there doesn’t appear to be any other information available. The book is out on October this year, so there’s plenty of time to wait yet. If anyone here has read anything else by this author, then I’d be really keen to hear your views.
PS: Infinity’s Reach review coming tomorrow; sorry for the delay.
PPS: Matlab sucks. That is all.
